Many sports as well as many sports events are shadowed by the abuse of anabolic steroids, including football, baseball, soccer etc. Anabolic steroid also commonly used by professional body builders to increase muscle mass very quickly and have a big muscle mass. The spirit of game and sports is lost the moment any player use a banned substance for enhancing performance. The sports person who uses anabolic steroids not only give a bad reputation to the sports, he/she also cause harm to his/her own health. In future the user of anabolic steroid suffers from many ill effects (side effects) of anabolic steroids.

The commonly used anabolic steroids are Sustanon, winstrol (Stanozolol), Dianabol etc. just to name a few. There are also many more anabolic steroid preparations which are available in many countries. Some of the anabolic steroids are banned in many countries.

Sustanon:

Sustanon is combination of four different testosterone compounds namely testosterone propionate, testosterone phenyl-propionate, testosterone isocaproate and testosterone decanoate. The four testosterone combination is made for immediate effect as well as sustained effect up to 1 month. Sustanon is an androgenic steroid with a pronounced anabolic activity.

Winstrol:

Winstrol or Stanozolol is another anabolic steroid which is also commonly used. Winstrol is a synthetic anabolic steroid synthesized from testosterone and is approved by FDA. Advantage of Winstrol is its availability as tablet or suspension, unlike other steroids which are mainly in injection form. It is also available as depot preraration. Stanozolol is banned by IAAF (international association of athletics federations) as well as may other sporting bodies. But Stanozolol is extensively used in horse racing.
